Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Python, or other relevant technologies.
• Execute automated and manual test scripts and meticulously analyse results.
• Identify, report, and track defects using industry-standard bug-tracking systems.
• Collaborate closely with the team to ensure quality at all stages of the SDLC.
• Think critically about edge cases and explore diverse testing scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Participate in daily standups or sprint reviews within an Agile framework.
• Continuously improve test processes and automation frameworks.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong interest in software testing and automation.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, etc.).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and manual testing fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills.
• Detail-oriented with a solution-driven mindset.
• Able to take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Professional Competencies:

• Core Knowledge: SDLC, STLC, Black Box Testing, Functional Testing, Test Case Design.
• Technical Skills: Exposure to SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java/Python, Git/GitHub, Excel/Google Sheets.
• Tools You May Be Exposed To: Selenium, Postman, JIRA/Bugzilla, JMeter, Jenkins, Linux/Command Line.
• Bonus: Agile/Scrum concepts, basic certifications like ISTQB Foundation, Selenium Tester, or Scrum Fundamentals.
